Arlington Post 1302 sponsors the Katherine Howell Scholarship at Dutchess Community College each year. Full time students who are the children or grandchildren of Post 1302 members in good standing can apply for this scholarship. Boys State Scholarship
American Legion Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high school students. It is a participatory program where each participant becomes a part of the operation of his local, county and state government. Arlington Post 1302 sponsors boys from our area to participate in the Department of New York program each year.
High school juniors are selected by the Post to attend the program. All expenses associated with attending this program are paid by Post 1302.
